Create a sensor

A new sensor can be created for SaVoir by using the sensor wizard. The wizard creates new satellite sensors based on parameters such as steering type and sensing angles.

To create a new sensor start the wizard by selecting Sensor Wizard ... from the Edit / Wizards ... menu, choose the satellite to add a sensor to, enter in the new sensor name and follow the wizard's steps to completion.

The following sensor operation modes are available

• Conical

• Leapfrog

• Polygonal

• Pushbroom

• Spotlight

• Stereo

• Windowing

• WideView

And the following sensor types are available

• Fixed

• Multi-beam

• Steerable continuous

• Steerable enumerative

• Swath file
